Revision of 1 September 2026

The short version

We collect exactly as much as the game needs to work and to remember where you got to.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number or your payment details, we do not track where you are, and we do not sell any data. You can delete your account yourself, in one step, whenever you like.

1. Who handles your data

Your data is handled by the PathWars team, the owner of pathwars.online.

2. What we collect

3. What we need it for

To run the game and keep your progress between visits.

To keep the leaderboard honest. For that we look at game events — how often and how long matches run, how many moves they take, how they end — and tell real players apart from point farming. The judgement comes from game statistics alone: we do not read your messages or files, and we look for nothing on your device.

To know how many people play, so the game can keep growing.

4. On what basis

To perform our agreement with you — that is, so the game works and remembers your progress.

As our legitimate interest: an honest leaderboard and anonymous visit statistics. Without the first the ladder means nothing; without the second there is no telling where the game should go next.

With your consent: browser notifications and personalised advertising. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — notifications in your profile or your browser settings, advertising through browser settings or an ad blocker.

5. Who we share it with

Your email, password and the contents of your account are never shared with ad networks. We do not sell personal data.

6. Advertising and cookies

Ad units appear in the menus only — never during a match. The video behind the “Support PathWars” button opens only when you tap it.

Advertising and cookies can be limited through your browser settings or an ad blocker; the game works either way.

7. How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists. The technical visit log for no more than 60 days, after which it is deleted automatically.

8. Your rights

You can delete your account yourself, at any time: Profile → Delete account.

Deleting removes, for good: your profile (nickname, points, rank, daily streak), your friends list and pending requests in both directions, your review of the game together with the likes on it, your daily-task progress, your notification subscription and the sign-in itself — email and password no longer open the door.

What stays is only what cannot identify you: the anonymous visit counters of the device, whose link to the account is cut when you delete it, and the overall number of games played. Match results are your opponents’ history as much as yours, so we do not rewrite them.

You can also find out what data we hold about you and ask us to correct it.

9. Children

The game is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

The current revision is always on this page, and its date is shown at the top.

11. Getting in touch

If you have questions about your data, write to us. Telegram:
